1. MonkeyRed photobooks are designed using photographs and other material supplied by our clients. If you are providing photographs or other material that have been taken by anyone but yourself or where the copyright is owned by anyone but yourself, you must ensure you have copyright or permission to reproduce the photographs. Refer to Copyright terms and conditions below.
2. There is no limit on number of photographs used in the books or albums, however, whilst we endeavour to include as many photographs as possible, certain criteria will determine how many photographs can be included to retain the integrity of the design, such as number of sides and size of book.
3. The quality of the images provided will play a major part in determining the end result of the book. We do assure you before starting work on the book, we will evaluate the file quality and sizes, and advise any concerns and will not print images above the acceptable print size for the file size. However, we do not take any responsibility for images not appearing to your satisfaction. We practice proofing processes and procedures to minimise and hopefully avoid dissatisfaction with the way images appear when printed. We may do minor manipulation work free of charge ie. adjusting exposure and colour saturation to enhance the printed pages, however, any major manipulation is an additional cost which will be quoted at time of evaluation depending upon work required.
4. To be eligible for any possible discounts on multiple orders, photobooks must be an exact replica ie. same design, same size, same format and same number of pages. If any changes need to be made to the book design, this voids the discount offer. Not all products are eligible for discounts.
5. The initial design process usually takes about one week. We will present the client with a digital online proof for proofing at their leisure, at which time the client will have the opportunity to request a reasonable amount of changes (a reasonable amount of changes would be considered to be no more than 25% of the page layouts). Revisions are to be advised in writing by email. Should revisions be required, additional online digital proofs will be sent to the client for final approval before going to print.
6. For delivery times please get in touch with MonkeyRed Designs for a an estimate. Please note that delivery times are an indication only and are based on time from final approval of the photobook. Please note also that during certain periods within a year (eg Christmas), it is normal for delivery times to extend beyond usual delivery times.
7. Payment terms: in most cases, we require a CAD$30 deposit on placement of order, with the balance due on approval of artwork. No design work will commence until the deposit has cleared our bank account and no products will be ordered until the final balance has been paid.
8. After receipt of your deposit, there is no time limit of when you must undertake the design phase of the book. Paying a deposit ahead of placing your order will ensure your order is scheduled into our workflow and guarantee a priority placing above other orders.
9. MonkeyRed Designs provides no warranty for incorrectness, misspellings or grammatical errors in text provided by you for use in captions, text or headings of MonkeyRed Design's products.
10. MonkeyRed Designs has a strict no return, no refund policy unless a product is damaged upon delivery or there are errors in the product which have obviously been made by MonkeyRed Designs.

Copyright Considerations

1. By placing an order with MonkeyRed Designs, you warrant that you are the owner of copyright or have the express authorisation of the owner of copyright in the photographs that you submit to us.
2. MonkeyRed Designs will not accept any liability for breaches by you of the copyright of any other party. You indemnify MonkeyRed Designs for all costs and damages that MonkeyRed Designs may suffer arising from any allegation that MonkeyRed Designs is liable for any infringement of copyright arising from MonkeyRed Designs's use, reproduction, modification, adaptation, alteration or transmission of the photographs submitted by you to MonkeyRed Designs.
3. You are solely responsible for complying with all relevant copyright laws that apply to you and your conduct. You acknowledge that you are aware that a breach of such laws may have serious consequences for you including both civil and criminal liability.
4. MonkeyRed Designs reserves the right at its sole and absolute discretion to refuse to reproduce, modify, adapt, alter or transmit any photographs or other material submitted by you to MonkeyRed Designs.
5. Without limiting the above paragraph in any way, MonkeyRed Designs reserves the right to refuse to reproduce, modify, adapt, alter or transmit any photographs or other material that Boots Creative considers objectionable or contrary to any law.
