All you have to do is send us your images – from a trip, or a wedding or any other occasion – and we’ll design and print a stunning, bookstore quality photobook for you. No more losing your images in the black hole of hard drives and memory sticks and no more saving photos in shoeboxes until you have time to do something with them. <p><strong>Behind the Red Monkey</strong></p>
<p>My name’s Greg Thorpe and I’m the owner and chief designer/producer. With a background in television and online production, my life changed a little (actually, a lot) when my wife and I moved to Vancouver, Canada, from Sydney, Australia. In line with the move across the world, I wanted to move away from what I’d done for the last 10 years and go into business for myself and that’s when MonkeyRed was born.</p>
<p>I started with a personal history and a love for making a wide range of photobooks, cards and home movies for friends and family to commemorate various important events in our lives. Birthdays, anniversaries, christmas – any reason was a good reason to put together another set of memories. They were always well-received, especially from the not-so-technically or design minded. This reaction got me thinking and I realised though, that not everyone has the time, patience, or knowledge to make these sort of keepsakes, so that’s why I started MonkeyRed Designs – to help everyone make sense of their memories.</p>
<p>As we enter our second year of business, it’s really exciting to see the company grow and move in new directions. We’re working with tour operators and schools around the world to produce all sorts of awesome photobooks as well as seeing a continual stream of business from personal clients, many based on referrals. I’m working with a very talented team that’s just as proud of what we do as I am and who are also completely focused on providing the same great service that MonkeyRed’s always been known for.
